Henrique Calisto: My Responsibility Defeat Vietnam

Vietnam coach, Henrique Calisto, admitted his team's defeat is the sole responsibility. Do not criticize the players but the criticism itself. Sometimes a team can win and lose.

"I'm responsible for this failure. Do not criticize players. If you need to criticize, critique me," said Henrique Calisto, the post-match press conference on Saturday (18/12), as reported by the official website of AFF.

"We did not lose here. In my opinion, our team better. We just lost an opportunity in Kuala Lumpur. Sometimes we win and sometimes lose,"said Calisto.

"The loss of Tan Tai on the game is very unfortunate. However, I agree with the decision of the referee in providing Thanh Luong red card,"said Calisto.

The second leg match ended with a score of glasses. However, Malaysia still breezed into the final because of superior aggregate, after previously able to win at home with the score 2-0. Upon this result, Vietnam must also be willing to remove the dream defend the champion title.
