Manchester Premier League Derby

The rivals met on four occasions last season, two of which were in the Carling Cup, and it was United's spread supporters that fared the better. Both league contests will be remembered for late goals after Michael Owen grabbed the winner at Old Trafford and Paul Scholes did the same at Eastlands.
Without playing at their highest level this season, Man United remain the only unbeaten side in the league which will please those spread bettors looking to buy their win index. Although unbeaten, Sir Alex and their win index buyers will be concerned that the side have only won once on the road since August. United's lone away league win came at the Britannia and they have drawn their other four games.
Further concerns for buyers of United's win index will be the manner of the points dropped – in particular the games at Goodison Park and Craven Cottage. Buyers of total goal minutes for both games will have made a healthy profit after United conceded late on against Fulham and twice against Everton. The total goal minute make-up reached 241 at Fulham and an impressive 375 at Everton from the respective 2-2 and 3-3 results.
Spread buyers of United's supremacy will be pleased to see that City have struggled in recent weeks and before their win against ten man West Brom they had lost two league games on the spin. United's spread followers will also be keeping an eye on Mario Balotelli's availability after he grabbed a brace at the weekend before being sent off. Roberto Mancini has revealed he will contest the dismissal, but sellers of United's supremacy will be delighted to see Carlos Tevez is at least back fit and playing.
Those spread bettors that enjoy a punt on Sporting Index's player performance markets might remember the Argentinean forward scored three goals against his former employers last year.
Sellers of the bookings spread for the derby might have noted that the two head-to heads last term accumulated seven yellow cards and no reds. There were only six yellow cards shown across the two Carling Cup semi-final clashes, which would appear to support spread sellers.
Spread buyers of Sporting Index's ‘Time of winning goal' market will be interested to find that the two league meetings included 90th minute winners from United. The Red Devils have continued that trend this campaign, scoring within the final ten minutes in their last four domestic fixtures.
